STIPEND:
Monthly Stipend to the apprentices from the date of engagement shall be paid as below
| Apprentices | Stipend |
| Graduate Apprentice | Rs. 9,000/- per month |
| Technician Apprentice | Rs. 8,000/- per month |
Note : No other allowances / benefits will be provided.
PERIOD OF APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING:
Period of Apprenticeship Training shall be 12 months from commencing of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
Note: It shall not be obligatory on the part of WCL to offer employment to an apprentice who has completed his/her apprenticeship, nor shall it be obligatory on the part of apprentice to accept employment from the WCL.
STIPEND:
The Apprentice will be paid monthly consolidated stipend amount as per the Gazette notification of the Government of India under the Apprenticeship Act 1992 (amended). At present the rate of stipend is as follows:

| One year’s ITI (SCVT/NCVT) | Rs 7700/- per month |
| Two year’s ITI (SCVT/NCVT) | Rs 8050/- per month |
| Fresher | Rs 6000/- per month or qualification based as prescribed in the Apprentices Rule 1992. |
Payment of Stipend shall be governed by the directions issued by respective RDSDES.
